2025 marks 20 years since I founded Makocraft, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve built. From day one, my goal has been to design and manufacture high-quality, Australian-made boats that deliver the durability, performance, and innovation our customers expect. With over 40 years of experience in the industry—shaped by my own journey and valuable customer input—Makocraft boats are built to handle Australia’s tough conditions, providing the best possible experience for boaties, fishermen, and families alike.
Boating has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Growing up on the Gold Coast, I had my first tinny by the time I was five, and from that moment, I knew the water would always be a part of my life. That passion led me to boat building, where I’ve dedicated my career to designing and manufacturing aluminium boats that push the boundaries of design while staying true to the principles of strength, safety, and longevity.
Since 2005, Makocraft has earned a strong reputation in the boating industry, known for its innovation, durability, and performance. Every Makocraft boat is designed and built in Australia with no compromises on materials or craftsmanship. We focus on delivering real value—boats that are built to last, perform exceptionally, and exceed expectations on the water.
Together with my wife Sally, we continue the family’s proud tradition of boat building, operating Makocraft from the Gold Coast. Looking ahead, 2025 is set to be an exciting year. We have new hull models in the works, fresh innovations on the way, and a strong presence at boat shows across the country. I look forward to meeting you at the shows and sharing what’s next for Makocraft.
